Add Instrumental
Build an accompaniment around a vocal idea.
Adding an instrumental starts from an existing vocal idea and explores a supporting arrangement. The planned workflow differs from generating a standalone instrumental because the accompaniment needs to relate to the source phrasing and musical direction.
Where it fits
Songwriters with a vocal sketch who want to explore a backing arrangement.
Concept example
An unaccompanied chorus you recorded → explore a restrained guitar-and-drum backing around its phrasing.
An illustration of the creative direction, not a generated result.
Planned workflow
- Starting material
- A suitable vocal idea and a description of the desired accompaniment.
- Intended result
- An accompaniment-oriented arrangement to evaluate with the source.
- 01
Choose a vocal idea whose phrasing is easy to follow.
- 02

- 03
Review whether the arrangement supports the vocal rhythm and melody.
Input requirements, available options, output formats and credit usage will be specified at launch.
Common questions
Is this the same as the Instrumental Generator?
No. The existing instrumental workflow starts a new track with No Lyrics enabled. This planned feature starts with a vocal idea and explores music to accompany it.
